{Munchkins} Nora:: 1 Year

You may recognize this cutie, but it has been a WHOLE YEAR since she was on my blog! This is what she looked like then and here is her now! She loves her mommy and daddy! Sweet Nora was captured in this tea cup so it was a must have for this session too! I absolutely loved this vintage chair they had passed down a couple generations! And yes, another cat! Nora loves her kitty, but the kitty wasn't in the mood for cuddle pics ha. Have fun this year Michelle and Chase! Enjoy every second- the first year goes by fast and so do the rest!

{Munchkins} Mason's 1!

 Mason is turning one! I've had the pleasure of photographing him every 3months since he was just 3months old. It was so awesome to watch him grow from a baby to a little boy. We had a part country christmas and part 1 year cake smash out at Aw Shucks in Monroe. It was perfect temp until the sun started setting.. then it was FREEZING... poor baby MIGHT have ended up shirtless with a cupcake mess.. check out the sneak peek from this cutie's session! A couple more weeks until his birthday party! Check back for pics from that and a couple pics from each session!

If you are interested in a "package" deal for the whole first year, please email me at bposhphoto@me.com!

Brooklyn's First Birthday

When I posted a pic that I was pregnant, Alyssa texted me right away saying that she thought she was too. I was so excited to have someone to share the pregnancy journey with. Both of us weren't really trying to have a baby, but we weren't not trying either. I was just a month ahead of her, so we had numerous texts and chats about what to expect. We both pretty much hated being pregnant, but we are definitely both thankful for the two little munchkins it produced!

Brooklyn June-- such a cute name-- had an ice-cream party themed birthday. I wish I had taken more pics of the cute decor, but i'm always having to keep an eye on my own munchkin ha. It was simple and sweet just like miss B!

 I hope the second year is even better than the first! :)

Bryleigh's turning ONE!

Sarah and I met for coffee routinely to chat about pregnancy since we were both due in May. She was due one week after I was. The day of my due date I get a text that Sarah's in labor! I was SO jealous and happy at the same time! As soon as little miss Bryleigh was born, I was up at the hospital holding her in my arms. I remember her starting to cry, but I calmed her down (this was a never in my history with holding babies haha). I can't believe it was almost a year ago!

Now we meet for playdates errands and let the girls baby talk while we chat about being a new mom. Sarah has done a great job and I love texting to get her opinion on things going on with Kins. I hope the girls can be friends for a long time!

Bryleigh is such a girly girl. She likes to play with shoes, makeup, and jewelry. She definitely knows what she wants and she always has a smile on. She is their first baby and she is definitely a godsend. For her birthday, Sarah has asked for donations to help a baby cottage in Africa! They are the most giving people I know and they have a passion for children. If you would like to read more or donate in honor of miss Bryleigh head on over to Sarah's Blog!

Love the hat?! Her momma made it!

She was SO not into smashing the cake haha! This princess is not into getting dirty. But just in case, we had an adorable bubble bath set up! So cute!

Stay tuned for pics of her bunny birthday next month!

Ansley's ONE.. part 1

Lauren and I were pregnant at the same time last year. I was stalking her facebook continuously for updates on if she had contractions, if she posted the name, if she was going to be induced, etc, etc. Miss Ansley came early just before Easter last year. I was SO excited for Lauren and thought maybe if I could just get near her (even in cyberspace) the early contractions would rub off on me too haha. (No such luck). I saw lauren post the first pic of Ansley in her carrier matching her beautiful momma kneeling at their doorstep. She just glowed!

Flash forward 1 whole year later and now we are celebrating our little babies' birthdays just a month a part! I was so excited to bring Kinsley over for her first birthday party invite, while secretly shopping for ideas haha. Picnic and Kites with vintage accents. ADORABLE! She worked really hard and it showed! Ansley loved just scooting around and soaking up the attention, while still slightly unaware that everyone was there just for HER!
