{Editorial} Lindsey

Lindsey is my GORGEOUS soon-to-be sister in law.. I absolutely love her style and her willingness to try whatever I wanted to do. I LOVE styling sessions and giving them an editorial feel... I love shopping for little things (like this vintage fur coat and hat) and using nature to style a perfect blend of bohemian/vintage/romance. This is the beginning of their styled engagement sesh, but we were waiting for the groom-to-be to get ready and I just HAD to snap these! Stay tuned for the Engagement part of this session coming this weekend!

{Munchkins} Mason's 1!

Mason is turning one! I've had the pleasure of photographing him every 3months since he was just 3months old. It was so awesome to watch him grow from a baby to a little boy. We had a part country christmas and part 1 year cake smash out at Aw Shucks in Monroe. It was perfect temp until the sun started setting.. then it was FREEZING... poor baby MIGHT have ended up shirtless with a cupcake mess.. check out the sneak peek from this cutie's session! A couple more weeks until his birthday party! Check back for pics from that and a couple pics from each session!

If you are interested in a "package" deal for the whole first year, please email me at bposhphoto@me.com!

{You + Me} Plumb-Godwin Wedding

I met Brittany and Kirk a while ago when we set up their engagement shoot. They had been dating forever and they finally tied the knot in October. It was a gorgeous day.. not too hot and not too chilly. The Godwin's opened their home and transformed their manor into a beautiful wedding venue. Down a long gravel road, I saw white chairs being set up and a huge white tent with vendors rushing all around. The bride and bridesmaids were still at a bed and breakfast, so I took advantage of getting lots of detail shots! Once everyone was back at the house, it was completely crazy trying to keep the groom from seeing the bride. It was hectic but the calm came when the music started playing and everyone was right where they were supposed to be.

Brittany looked stunning as she walked down the white staircase to meet her groom. As the groomsmen got to the end of the aisle, they opened up their jackets to reveal a secret message to the groom. I caught on after the first 2 and saw the message saying "There is still time to run" and the last one had the car keys attached. Ha! Glad he didn't take them up on it! lol

It was all out craziness trying to get everyone over to the backyard party tent. The groomsmen got nerf guns for gifts and everyone wanted to go wild shooting them. I managed to get them together for a couple of gorgeous pics first. And THEN it was time to party! Check out Part 1 and check back later this week for part 2 at the reception!

Congrats Brittany and Kirk!
Stay tuned for part 2!
