Aimee::Bridal Sesh

I left a sunny day in matthews on my way to the Saratoga Springs in Mt. Pleasant and headed into deep dark rain clouds. Surely they wouldn't be at my destination, but the further I drove, the more I realized they were directly over my stop. With Aimee's wedding on Saturday and her trial make-up run earlier that day, we were gonna pray and make due with whatever God gave us.

Everytime there is bad weather, God undoubtedly brings about at least a moment of silence, a break in the clouds and a peak of sun. This bridal sesh was no exception and I give Him all the glory!

Aimee was dressed to in her beautiful gown glowing with excitement to become mrs. Keller. She even had embroidered sneakers saying "Mrs. K." She was so excited about her future, but definitely didn't forget the past. Her bouquet and bracelet carried little photographs of her dad who passed away a few years ago. It was so special to see that her dad could still be with her going down the aisle and be remembered throughout the whole day! It's those little details that make me LOVE my job!

Here are some of Aimee's bridal sesh!

Congrats Aimee and Chris!

BPosh Adoption

To be honest, I wasn't always that into babies. It wasn't until I HAD one that I got an over whelming passion for them. In my mind, abortion had never been an option, but my heart KNEW so after I had my little one in my arms. I know that there are countless women that feel like they can't be mothers for one reason or another, and I know there are countless women that want to be mothers but can't. Some of my closest friends that are AMAZING mothers are trying to give kids a permanent home. My mentor and friend, Kim Ward, was the first of many that shared her heart for international adoption. That was 4 years ago. She had spent another 5+ years before that praying that her husband would have a heart and desire to adopt too.

I will go into further detail in a future post, but with that said, God has been laying on my heart over and over again ideas of what I could do to help bring some babies home from Africa into the loving arms of the Ward family.

So without further ado, I am starting a program to help out adopting families through BPosh photography.  There will be 2 parts.

The first: I will be hosting a mini session day in August, where families can come and get professional photos taken in a creative environment, with a percentage of your session going to a $1000 goal to help bring 2 babies home!

The Second: Any families that book a "Coming Home Session" that includes a photo session at the airport upon arrival to Charlotte, or any other "official" home coming for a normal session fee, 10% of it will go towards another adopting family.

I have always heard that we can either 1) Do, 2) Give, or 3) Pray. Will you take part? If you would like to schedule a mini family session, please email bposhphoto@me.com or stay tuned to the Facebook fan page for more info. If you know of anyone that may be interested PLEASE forward the info (there will be additional fliers and e-fliers with all the info. Or if you would like to give, but you do not currently need family photos, you may contribute to our goal of $1000. Any little bit helps!

Please start the BUZZ about this AMAZING opportunity!

**If you or someone you know is considering adoption, please email Brittany Porter at bposhphoto@me.com for more info on fundraising and coming home sessions!

Thank you in advance and I look forward to posting more info!

Nora::Newborn

 This little punkin's grandma set up a newborn session and I was thrilled to capture this tiny 3 week year old! Her name is Nora. How precious is that?! Her strawberry hair and ivory skin captivated my lens. As you will notice, even though we PLAN for the babies to be asleep, mine sessions are ALWAYS filled with bright-eyed beauties... Nora was no exception. She was a great model and her favorite spot was in the tea cup basking in the sun. Congratulations Michelle & Chase!

Cole Havertine::Newborn

If you're scared of baby fever... stop right here! There is a cutie to brag about below!
Melissa and Brett welcomed their baby boy, Cole Joseph, on April 30th. He is the sweetest little thing! He was truly PERFECT. His nursery was adorable- grays and creams with a pop of sea foam green. She did an amazing job! Melissa looked SO beautiful too! Both his parents passed down their good looks to this GORGEOUS little boy. She had a lot of great props to use, too! I was in love with her baskets and the bench!

I could just eat him up! Look at those eyes!

Congrats again Melissa and Brett!

May Family Sesh

I had so much fun getting together with Ann and her family (again)! I took photos of her family when she was pregnant and then when her little girl was just under 3 months... and now she'll be turning two in August! This family is full of beauty and fun. Her handsome son is so curious, he was loving the park, especially the fish. He asked every fisherman a question or two and even caught a baby frog! Chloe loved picking flowers and playing with daddy. They love spending time together, even if it is just chasing the kiddos and watching them explore life! I loved catching them laughing, learning to skip rocks, being silly and just enjoying each other's company!

I absolutely ADORE these!

This picture captures his personality- love!

Hope you enjoy you're sneak peek!

Bryleigh's turning ONE!

Sarah and I met for coffee routinely to chat about pregnancy since we were both due in May. She was due one week after I was. The day of my due date I get a text that Sarah's in labor! I was SO jealous and happy at the same time! As soon as little miss Bryleigh was born, I was up at the hospital holding her in my arms. I remember her starting to cry, but I calmed her down (this was a never in my history with holding babies haha). I can't believe it was almost a year ago!

Now we meet for playdates errands and let the girls baby talk while we chat about being a new mom. Sarah has done a great job and I love texting to get her opinion on things going on with Kins. I hope the girls can be friends for a long time!

Bryleigh is such a girly girl. She likes to play with shoes, makeup, and jewelry. She definitely knows what she wants and she always has a smile on. She is their first baby and she is definitely a godsend. For her birthday, Sarah has asked for donations to help a baby cottage in Africa! They are the most giving people I know and they have a passion for children. If you would like to read more or donate in honor of miss Bryleigh head on over to Sarah's Blog!

Love the hat?! Her momma made it!

She was SO not into smashing the cake haha! This princess is not into getting dirty. But just in case, we had an adorable bubble bath set up! So cute!

Stay tuned for pics of her bunny birthday next month!
