Brittany & Kirk are engaged!

After being together 7 years, their families are so excited they are FINALLY tying the knot! They met through mutual friends at a wine and cheese party and their love developed long distance. They are getting married in October and I'm so excited to be a part of their special day!

They were so comfortable with each other and just came across as best friends with a fresh breath of romance. Here's some of their lovely engagement sesh!

Easter Minis Part 1!

Easter minis with baby animals sounded like a GREAT idea. I was SO excited to be offering this! I was so thankful to have family there to place chicks and bunnies in and out of shots and to capture a lamb that decided to jump out of his pack-n-play and run off. whoa.. talk about a crazy, eventful afternoon that led to capturing these ADORABLE photographs! Here is Ansley, Kinsley and Laine (10-11 months in age) posing pretty!

Mason is 3 months!

Mason was just a little thing... a premie now 3 months new! He was the cutest little thing with strawberry blonde hair and the most adorable outfits around! If I ever have a boy, I am DEFINITELY purchasing all of these cute hats! He was SO good--just calmly letting mommy and daddy dress him up and down. And since it is so close to Easter, we had to through in some Easter accessories as well! Enjoy!

Katie and Brody met me up at Aw Shucks Farm in Monroe for a little morning Easter session. They had cute realistic chicks to play with and animals to feed. Brody was so handsome in his Easter outfit, I definitely had to get one of him and Kinsley too!

Sneak Peek: Voigt Wedding Part 1

I ran into Diane Shawley at Grace Academy, where I teach, and she mentioned her daughter was getting married and she wanted to know if i'd like to capture it. I was so excited! First wedding of the year, officially booked and coming up in just 2 months. Beth met me at the door of her grandma's house where everything you could imagine laid out on the breakfast table. She was so sweet and invited me right in to invade their space haha. "Make sure you eat some protein" grandma said, handing me a sausage link. Don't mind if I do! ha. Beth was getting last minute details together and having her makeup applied while I gathered some shots of the accessories. She was beautiful even without anything done! I met her sisters/bridesmaids and everyone was so happy even so early on a somewhat rainy morning. I prayed and prayed the weather would clear up... and later it did!
