Katie and Brody met me up at Aw Shucks Farm in Monroe for a little morning Easter session. They had cute realistic chicks to play with and animals to feed. Brody was so handsome in his Easter outfit, I definitely had to get one of him and Kinsley too!
I ran into Diane Shawley at Grace Academy, where I teach, and she mentioned her daughter was getting married and she wanted to know if i'd like to capture it. I was so excited! First wedding of the year, officially booked and coming up in just 2 months. Beth met me at the door of her grandma's house where everything you could imagine laid out on the breakfast table. She was so sweet and invited me right in to invade their space haha. "Make sure you eat some protein" grandma said, handing me a sausage link. Don't mind if I do! ha. Beth was getting last minute details together and having her makeup applied while I gathered some shots of the accessories. She was beautiful even without anything done! I met her sisters/bridesmaids and everyone was so happy even so early on a somewhat rainy morning. I prayed and prayed the weather would clear up... and later it did! Here is just a sneak peek of some of the pre-wedding shots! Much more to come so stay tuned! And click "like" on the BPosh facebook to see all the upcoming posts firsthand!
Teresa contacted me about taking some family shots for her husband, stepson, and 14 month old daughter. She was telling me how they hadn't done a recent photoshoot for their baby girl and was glad to get some pics done. Little Makaela was so precious... so much hair and only half a tooth! She loved toddling along with us to different spots around the park. It was SUPER cold and windy! I'm so thankful everyone stuck with me and we got some great shots! Here's the sneak peek!
Harper is turning 6 months old! She was such a cutie dressed in her animal print and easter bunny hats. She worked the camera with those baby blues, but she loved those inbetween times being cuddled by mommy and daddy! It was so sweet watching these new parents love on their baby girl! Here are just a few shots from Harper's 6 month sesh!
27External [a]religious worship [[b]religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world.
I was SO excited when Ellen's best friend Aundrea set up a surprise photo session to document their adoption from China. Ellen, her husband, and her son had been traveling over 18 hours back to the U.S. from picking up their brand new baby girl, Nellie. It allowed all of her friends and family to hug all over them without having to worry about snapping pics too.
Ellen's friends and family made huge signs and met at the airport to welcome them home at 11:30pm. This family, along with others, have really been called to practice pure religion and to care for the orphans of this world.
Ellen has a blog about their journey that you can visit HERE and the orphanage's website has adorable photos of them picking her up.
I was moved to tears watching the embrace of loved ones who had been PRAYING for months about this baby girl. She was left with no one, at an orphanage in China. To see every one love on this little doll and provide her with a new family was a vision of what God has done for us and a picture of what His love looks like. As tears dropped from behind my lens, I snapped these shots:
